Carpet cleaning in Zug based on material and condition
For loose rugs and fitted carpets, we assess the fibres, backing, soiling and use of the area. This determines whether cleaning is suitable and which approach can be agreed.
A loose rug or a fitted carpet?
A single rug needs different information from a carpeted office floor. For a loose rug, tell us its dimensions, material and care instructions. For fitted carpeting, we also need details of the backing, installation, accessible area and furniture. A delicate hand-knotted rug should not be assumed to suit the same method as a robust commercial carpet.
Describe stains and previous treatment
Tell us what may have caused each stain, how long it has been there and which products have already been used. Photograph the whole carpet, the affected areas and, if available, its care label. Further attempts with unknown products can complicate the assessment. Permanent discolouration, faded fibres and material damage cannot be resolved by a blanket cleaning promise.
Choose the method for the material
Before accepting the work, we assess suitability for the proposed treatment. Moisture, colourfastness, backing and delicate edges need consideration. If treatment would not be responsible, we explain that beforehand. Ordinary carpet cleaning does not automatically mean complete stain removal, disinfection or a mite-free result.
Plan furniture and use after cleaning
Agree which areas will be cleared and which furniture will stay in place. After a wet treatment, drying depends on the material, method and room conditions. Discuss when the area must next be used before commissioning the work. Office areas may be planned in stages; a fixed drying time or immediate access cannot be promised without assessment.
Clarify the workload and pricing basis
Area, fibres, stains, access and preparation affect the quote. Record which rugs or floor areas are included, any agreed furniture handling, and how products and travel are charged. Ordinary home cleaning includes vacuuming the agreed surfaces. Intensive carpet treatment has a separate scope.
Care between appointments
Follow the care label and manufacturer’s instructions. Suitable routine care removes loose dirt but does not replace assessment of stains or damage. Our carpet-care guide helps you prepare. If a sofa or mattress also needs cleaning, we assess the material and condition of each item separately.
