Cleaning windows after pollen
Yellow deposits on glass and frames do not call for aggressive treatment. Follow surface care instructions, use clean tools and ensure safe access.
Assess frames and surrounding surfaces first
Check frames, seals and sills for loose deposits. Avoid rubbing dry particles firmly over delicate surfaces. Remove them using a suitable method without sharp tools, so they do not immediately soil the glass again.
Use suitable window-cleaning tools
Use clean water, a surface-compatible product and clean cloths or squeegees. Coated glass may have special care requirements. Change dirty water and avoid working on strongly heated glass where possible. Follow the product maker’s dosage and safety instructions.
Know the limits of safe access
