How is a key handover to the cleaning company regulated?

For recurring bets, it must be clear which key has been handed over, what it may be used for, who accepts it, and how return or loss are reported.

Scope of work

A simple list prevents open questions

The regulation should be brief, but mention all the crucial points.

At transfer

  • Number and type of keys
  • Eligible area and purpose
  • Date and transferees

During the order

  • Contact person responsible
  • No unnecessary address tags
  • Report failure or loss immediately

Upon return

  • Date and recipient
  • Confirmation of completeness
  • Document changes in access

Planning

Key and alarm are separate topics

Alarm codes, badge rights or special security requirements are only handled via the agreed protected route. Such information shall not be included in public forms or in general operational notes.

The concrete process depends on the property and the client. This page describes organizational help, not security certification.

Frequently asked questions

Answers before the request

The scope of services agreed in the quote remains binding.

Should the address be on the key?

A directly readable property address should be avoided for security reasons. The internal assignment is organised with caution.

What happens at a loss?

The loss will be reported immediately via the agreed contact route. Further steps are determined by the responsible client.

Do alarm codes belong in the handover protocol?

Only if there is a protected, intended process. Public forms and general notes are unsuitable for this.
