Blind and shutter cleaning in the Canton of Zug
Blinds, slats and roller shutters are listed separately from glass and frames in the quote. The method depends on their construction, material, condition and safe access.
Blinds need a different assessment from glass
Slats, guide rails and other accessible parts have different shapes and surfaces. Tell us the type of blind or shutter. If it is safe, provide an overview photograph and close-ups of the soiling. Mention whether the system operates normally. Report faults, loose parts and damaged coatings before the work begins.
Specify which parts are included
Record whether the assignment covers slats or roller shutters, accessible guide rails and adjoining frames. Window glass is a separate item. Not every side of a blind can be reached from indoors. Dismantling, repairs and work on motors or electrical components are not automatically included in cleaning.
Check access and working height in advance
The storey, balconies, fixed access and window position affect planning. Do not lean out of a window or enter an unsecured area to take photographs. Before accepting the job, we assess which surfaces can be reached safely and what access equipment may be needed. Difficult exterior access should not be treated as ordinary window cleaning without discussion.
Combine the work with windows or a tenancy handover
For a combined appointment, blinds, frames and glass are planned together so the tasks fit the agreed sequence. For a tenancy handover, the relevant blinds must be listed in the written quote. Any handover guarantee applies to the agreed scope under its terms. Booking window glass alone does not automatically include blinds.
Information needed for a quote
Tell us the number, approximate size, type and storey, and provide photographs of the condition where safe. Describe deposits and known damage. We choose the method after assessing the material and access, then record the scope and pricing basis. The quote should explain products, travel and any special access requirements. Extra work is discussed beforehand.
Plan the next visit around the condition
One fixed schedule does not suit every system. Exposure to weather, surrounding dust and use affect how quickly it becomes dirty. Follow the manufacturer’s care instructions and the actual condition. If you already book regular window cleaning, we can discuss which blinds should be included in a future appointment.
