A post-construction cleaning only starts to make sense when construction progress, residues, surfaces and handover dates fit together. This checklist organizes the necessary information.

Setting a realistic deadline
Too early cleaning produces duplicate work.
If crafts work continues, doors are missing or material is constantly moved, cleaned areas pollute again. Therefore, clarify which works are completed and who enters the area after cleaning.
This checklist helps with organizational preparation. It is not a substitute for building acceptance, defect testing or professional assessment of materials.
